NYIP Launches New Weekly Video Series for Photographers

on Monday, 12 May 2014.

The New York Institute of Photography has launched a brand new weekly video series for photographers who want to learn how to take better photos. The series, titled Photo Snacks, will feature a new photography tip every Wednesday on both the school’s YouTube channel as well as www.nyip.edu.

NYIP Photo Snacks are fast, nutritious, delicious information designed to make you think differently about picture making. They are easy to digest and will keep photographers saying, "I never thought of that".

Each week, on Wednesday, a new Photo Snack will be released on NYIP’s YouTube Channel. In addition, the short, under 60-second video will be published on the NYIP website along with a write-up from one of the school’s faculty members. Photographers can subscribe to the series through YouTube or by subscribing to NYIP’s free monthly newsletter.

"Photo Snacks fit nicely with NYIP’s methodology," said Chris Corradino, NYIP’s Faculty Director. "We put the emphasis on training our students to see the world like a photographer, and worry less about the technology or equipment that each student is using. It’s not about the camera, it’s about the eye behind it."
