NYIP Releases New Video Featuring Photography Student, Grads, and Teachers

on Wednesday, 27 March 2013.

This week, the New York Institute of Photography released a new online video featuring student and staff interviews. The video, entitled 'About the New York Institute of Photography', gives prospective students some insights into what makes the experience of learning photography at home at their own pace from the world’s largest and oldest photography school so special.

For years, NYIP’s home-study photography courses have successfully trained photographers from all over the world. Students learn the art, technique, and business of photography from the comfort of their own homes. And in this video we meet several students who benefited from the education that they got who share their stories with the viewer. In addition, we hear from real staffers at NYIP who explain what professional training can do for photographers looking to improve their skills.

"We’ve been around and teaching photography for over 100 years now,” said Chuck DeLaney, Director of NYIP, “but we know that there are many aspiring photographers out there who are not aware of NYIP. Hopefully this video shows people that there is an easy, affordable, and convenient option for them to learn photography from a group of professional photographers who have been doing it for a long time."
