Photo Snack – Take Fewer, Better Shots

By NYIP Staff on May 06, 2015

Welcome to another NYIP Photo Snack! In this week’s video, we learn that a common strategy for many photographers may be flawed.

With digital cameras, it’s relatively easy and inexpensive to capture large numbers of photos during a shoot. Photographers think that by keeping their finger on the shutter button, they increase the odds that something they’ve captured is of good enough quality.

But we remind you that taking more photos simply leaves you with more photos, not better photos. Take your time to frame each shot and make sure you’re getting exactly what you need. It doesn’t take 100 photos to get the right shot, it just takes one.
