Photo Snack – Avoid Spotty Photos

By NYIP Staff on March 25, 2015

Welcome to another NYIP Photo Snack! In this week’s video, we learn how to properly handle our gear to avoid spotty photos.

First, avoid changing lenses in risky environments. Next, turn the camera off before changing lenses. Hold your camera upside down with your lens facing down when changing it. And have your lens ready to go when you’re swapping it in so that your camera is open for the shortest time possible.

Finally, always check your lenses for dust before attaching them. Following these basic tips will help you keep your camera and lenses clean and your photographs looking great!
